Saving Grace 8 years ago

Good afternoon Danny how’s things?

Hi

Tells us a little about yourself, where are you from originally, when did you start listening to & playing music?

Well I’m originally from Heckmondwike, I’ve lived all over though, I cant really remember when I started listening to music, but I started playing when I was 11.

You recently worked with Savvy and members of his collective on the project can you tell us a little bit about it, what did you do exactly?3657

It was brilliant, loved every minute, throughout the project I created the lyrics and music. How many songs would you say you’ve madeI like to play all kinds of music, including my own, I think I must have written about 100 plus songs.

What would you say are your main influences, what do you personally really like listening to?

I always want to expand on my music, different styles and genres, however my main influences are just the same as most other musicians, life and experiences, good and bad.

What do you like doing outside of music, your quite the engineer apparently?

There aren’t many things that I do outside of music, but Ido like to build, usually out of knex, bits of wood, whatever I can get my hands on.

Whats your dream artist to work with dead or alive?

My dream artist to work with would be a cross between Marvin Lee Addy (meatloaf), and Steve Tyler (Aerosmith).

Can you remember the first song you ever wrote, if so what was it called?

The first song that I wrote was called “in memory of you” and it was for my Gran.

Anybody you want to big up & say hello to?

I don’t think that I would have gotten this far if it wasn’t for Jonathan T. (Hostel Project worker), Savvy and his collective, who have inspired me to continue a career in music further, and my girlfriend and friends for all their support.

Thanks you for your time Danny, it’s been a pleasure talking to you & all the best for the future.

You can check out the song entitled ” Live from the Hostel” & music video he created alongside Savvy & his collective in conjunction with Connect Housing below.
