Huddersfield native Surreal has been producing music since he obtained his first copy of fruity loops in primary school. Starting out making Grime, influenced by the likes of D’explicit, he experimented with all kinds of bass orientated genres: Bassline, Drum & Bass, House, Fidget, Hip-Hop and Dubstep. Being entirely self taught, what is impressive is how intuitively the music comes to him.
Surreal contributed the bass-heavy banger To Look Back in Anger for Highest Frequency Vol. 1.
Surreal has gone from strength to strength, mastering tracks for upcoming artists and putting out a series of solid records throughout the years. His tracks have been released on J. Sparrow’s Navy Cut label, Mala’s Deep Medi label, Duploc Records, Chip Butty Records, and a recent EP of sublime sounds for Lush Lounge Records.
Stay tuned for the brand new sounds of Surreal forthcoming on Saving Grace Music!
