DJ Marcel

DJ Marcel is an 11 year old producer from Huddersfield. Growing up surrounded by music, Marcel was hooked from being a toddler, always singing and ‘playing’ any instrument he could get his hands on.

Around 7 years old Marcel inherited a hand-me-down computer and began playing around with Acid music software, almost immediately constructing funky grooves. Over the next year he migrated to FL studio, learning music theory and composing original tracks. Inspired by his love of Jazz, Funk and 80’s Electronica, he wrote instrumentals heavily featuring piano, slap bass, and 808 beats.

In 2020, at 8 years old, DJ Marcel and his brother I am Xavier, wrote, produced, and released their debut album, In the ears. Today at age 11, Marcel continues writing and recording, and is currently working on a solo EP.

DJ Q

Huddersfield born DJ Q is an international DJ, producer, and legend in the Bassline and Garage scenes. A prolific DJ well-known for his relentless work rate, and six year stint as a DJ on BBC Radio 1Xtra, it’s Q’s tireless schedule that’s kept him secure in the minds of the record-buying public.

DJ Q has over one hundred productions and remixes under his belt, and performs as one-third of supergroup TQD, with Royal T and Flava D.

Q has touched music fans globally, having toured across Europe and Asia. His new album Est. 2003, described by Resident Advisor as “11 tracks of peak-time UK garage”, is a modern UKG classic that reinforces Q’s legendary status in the game.

Foxglove Riot

Foxglove Riot are an Earth-based melodic glitch duo. They use time-ripping rhythms, samples from intergalactic transmissions, and melodies written by various humanoid species to create music that you might expect to hear on a forest moon. Always odd, occasionally comical, and at times beautiful.

Krash

Hi my name is Krash is a DJ and bass/bassline producer heavily influenced by the infamous Sheffield sound and underground rave scene. He’s been DJing for almost 4 years and started seriously making music about a year ago.

He’s have spent many years traveling out to raves embracing the scene and discovering most of my influences and inspirations in his own production.

“Going Home was quite an early project of mine, it being made not long after starting my music making journey. In retrospect it shows my progression over the past year I’ve been making music. This track matches the whole vibe of when you’re in the taxi heading home after the rave with its cool down but still energetic vibe.”

Mighty Funk’Houser

Seeing and witnessing him in action is his CV. No pen
to paper or fingers to the keyboard… just “Funkz”, the
decks, the mic and his real life vibes!

As the saying goes; “Actions speak louder than words”.
I choose to say less and do more.

Here are a few artists and DJ’s who I have
been thankful enough to have played amongst
and hosted for: Anouj, Afronaut & Mark Force [Bugz in the Attic], Aluku Rebels, Ben Hauke, Chino-Vv, Down Town Calling, DJ Q, Henry Wu, IsThatYou, Sy Sez, Soulful Grooves, Comfy Bella, Very Soulful Productions, plus many more.

“I’m here to have fun, experience, learn, gain knowledge, spread a message, create a vibe, dance and finesse my style, as well as pass on all that I have witnessed to the next souls in line.

This journey is different for each individual so I tell you now; NEVER watch face just DO YOU!

We will see when the lights are on/off, when the
sun rises and sets and when the moon is at its most
brightest in the sky.

That’s all for now, see you in a session.
Peace and love is the order of the day”.
