“I’ve been writing music my whole life, from the first song at 6 years old (which had a lot of ‘woah woah woah yeah yeah’ – thanks One Direction!) and just kept writing. It helps me figure out what I’m feeling as a neurodivergent person especially. From there, I’ve developed both musically and emotionally, and I’ve kept writing!”

Icey mentioned that ‘SPIDERS’ wasn’t originally going to be on the album, “I thought it was too dark of a subject or people wouldn’t relate”. However, after working with Jolene, they changed their mind. “I knew what I had to do, not for me, but for anyone else out there who may be feeling the same pain.”

People will say things like ‘you’ve got a Jagged Little Pill thing going on here’ and I think around 20 different people have told me this. I only started listening to her around a year ago, and I really do love her music – I’d say now she is definitely an inspiration of mine.
